Move-In Day: Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Welcomes New Lions to Campus

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is preparing to welcome new students moving on campus Wednesday, August 20 for the start of the fall semester. Move-In Day will be followed by Welcome Home Weekend events, running Wednesday through Sunday, that help new Lions settle in and connect with the campus community.

Upon arrival, all vehicles should enter campus through Fine Arts Drive off West Clay Street. The first stop is J. Scheidegger Center for their initial check-in. Students will receive their Welcome Home Weekend lanyard, confirm financial clearance, and pick up their student ID, parking pass, and room key. Students should ensure their accounts are up to date before arrival to help keep the process moving quickly.

After check-in, students will proceed to their assigned dorms. Staff, faculty, and student volunteers will be on site to assist with moving and to answer any questions.

Move-In Day will conclude with GlowFest, held from 8:30-10:30 p.m. on the Evans Commons Lawn, featuring s’mores, neon swag, and a bubble bus. It’s a chance to celebrate the start of the year, meet new friends, and begin building the connections and memories that shape the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ experience.
